All GREEN, everything! Biotherm’s NEW Skin-Ergetic Fatigue Repairing Concentrate is currently my new OBSESSION. I completely forgot about this product line and thought they filed for bankruptcy because this line wasn’t putting out any gems, let me tell you. HOWEVER, this one is just an all around #WINNER. Okay, so I know I’ve been MIA for about what 10 years?! Clearly, I had better things to do with my time, as SKIN is just ONE aspect of our ever so busy and complicated lives. So, give me a break.  Having made it clear that skin is just one aspect of our lives, so is FASHION! When I’m not buying skincare products, you better believe I’m spending my money on fashion, honey! So  maybe in the near future we shall just rename the blog all together to “My Wallet in Ruins? Let’s get straight to some mah-fuckin business. WHICH GOD MADE THESE BEAUTIFUL HEELS? And who am I going to have to call and bitch to get my feet prancing around in these sexy YET so understated stilettos? Are these not absolute perfection? Who said Vodka is bad for skin? Well, it’s unfortunate what vodka has done to Cameron Diaz’ skin texture, but I have a fun and quick at home recipe which uses VODKA to give you TIGHT and YOUNGER looking skin in minutes! I have been a fan Ole Henriksen products for a few years now. Aside from his amazing line of products, he gives many tips and tricks on his website that include at home beauty recipes for scrubs, masks and treatments. My ABSOLUTE favorite is Ole’s Firming Ice Cube Treatment with, of course, vodka! ingredients 5 oz of fresh lemon juice 5 oz of strongly brewed rose hips tea 5 oz of strongly brewed mint tea 5 oz of vodka Directions Blend the ingredients together and pour into an ice cube tray. One ice cube can be used several times, simply put back in the freezer after use. Use by draping the ice cube with a thin cotton handkerchief, and let the active ingredients melt through the thin fabric. Glide across the entire face and throat for at least two minutes. Benefits This treatment firms and tightens pores for smoother, younger looking skin. Most of us already have a bottle of vodka lying around in the freezer and some lemons in the refrigerator (for vodka sodas, obviously!), so you would just need to go to a Whole Foods to get rose hip and mint tea. It’s been awhile, blah blah blah. Yea, on to the next one. A good friend bitched me out earlier today for not blogging anymore. Her face is as glorious as it is today thanks to me. She said this, not me. I’m not that in over my head. I told her I didn’t think my writing was appreciated by you over-critical monsters and she replied, “Who cares, it’s like throwing a hotdog down a stairway, you never know what you’re gonna hit” I almost stopped listening to her until this geniousity came out of her mouth. Thanks whatwoodkylixdo.com! So here I am, throwing a hotdog down the stairway and I hope it hits you in the face. In a good way. I know I’ve always warned you about facial scrubs. “They’re too abrasive” “They thin your skin over time” “Scrubs may scratch your skin” Well, we all want to get in a good scubbin’ every now and then, so I take it all back and you can bitch me out later. This CHEAP gem is a little abrasive. It feels like you’re using an S.O.S pad on your face, but sometimes your skin may need some S.O.S. After relying mostly on products with alpha beta hydroxy acids to do all the exfoliating, I wanted to feel the graininess of a scrub POLISHING my skin and FORCING off the dead skin cells and grime.This scrub does just that. After the first scrub a dub, you’ll notice your skin is practically PORE-LESS  and much more even toned. The scrub also has a TINGLING sensation to make your skin feel ever so fresh and clean. I suggest using it 1x week if you have normal skin and 2x for dry and oilier skin types. Why 2x for DRY and OILY skin types? Dry skin is very flaky and you need to scrub those dead skin flakes off. Oily skin tends to have larger, more congested pores you need to clean out. I prefer to use it at the sink after cleansing. The shower is a little tricky because with all the steam and water, the consistency of the scrub is different and it doesn’t really do its job. I know what you’re thinking. “CLINIQUE?
